For Beginner Riders: Bell Rock Pathway is the most recommended trail for beginners! It is wide, smooth, and scenic— great for those looking to get a feel for Sedona’s terrain.
For Intermediate Riders: Templeton Trail is a fun ride with slickrock, flow, and some short climbs with views.
For Advanced Riders: Hangover Trail is one of the most iconic rides in Sedona. It is very challenging with extreme exposure, tech, and drops.
When to Go
Mountain biking in Sedona is a year-round activity, but Spring and Fall typically offer the most comfortable temperatures. Summers can get hot, especially mid-day, so early morning rides are recommended.
